General Information:

  • All participants must register prior to the event.
  • Participants must provide a signed waiver before participating.
  • The tournament will adhere to the Wolfhouse code of conduct: respect, discipline, and sportsmanship are mandatory.

Equipment Requirements:

  • All participants must wear appropriate gear.
    • Mouthguard
    • 16oz Gloves (under 100lbs - 12 oz)
    • Shin Guards (Cloth shin guards are NOT permitted)
    • Headgear
    • Groin Protector (for Male Participants)
  • Participants are responsible for providing their own equipment.
  • All equipment must be approved by tournament officials prior to the match.

Match Format:

  • Matches will consist of one (1) round:
    • Each round is 90 seconds long.
  • The tournament will follow a round-robin style of competition:
    • Wins = 1 point
    • Losses = 0 points
    • Rankings will be decided based on the total points accumulated.

Weight Classes:

  • Weight classes will be determined based on registration and will be organized into ranges to ensure fair competition.
  • Participants must weigh in on the day of the event.

Prohibited Techniques (NOT ALLOWED):

  • Elbow strikes
  • Knee strikes to the head
  • Throws and sweeps that are not controlled
  • Strikes to the back, groin, or neck
  • Knockouts are prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification.

Allowed Techniques :

  • Punches, kicks, and knees to the body and legs
  • Controlled clinching (limited to 5 seconds before separation by the referee)

Penalties & Disqualifications:

  • Unsportsmanlike conduct, excessive force, or illegal techniques will result in warnings or disqualification.
  • Accumulation of three (3) warnings will result in disqualification.
  • This tournament is not a full-contact fight event. It is a light-contact sports tournament designed specifically for beginners and kids to help them develop their skills in a safe, controlled environment. All participants will follow strict safety protocols, and the event will prioritize technical development over competition intensity.

Referee Authority:

  • The referee’s decision is final. The referee may stop the fight at any time for safety reasons. Participants must follow all referee instructions promptly.

Safety Measures:

  • Medical personnel will be on-site to handle injuries.
  • Participants must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions during registration.

Awards:

  • Medals or trophies will be awarded to the winners in each weight class.
  • All participants will receive a certificate of participation.
